produced by the community, for the community

On Thursday 26th of October we will once again be running the Halloween Walk.

For those who haven’t previously joined us this is a fun filled event that combines trick or treating with a walk around the village.

We will be meeting at the Badger at 6pm, then follow a route around the village, trick or treating as we go. All the children (and many of the adults) wear brilliant costumes and have great fun along the way.

We only call at prearranged houses so we know we will be welcomed with sweets and in some cases very spooky decorations!

We feel this is a nice way to get children together to experience trick or treating without bothering any residents who would prefer to be left alone.

Last year we were amazed by the number of terrifyingly dressed little witches, skeletons, zombies, vampires and other monsters who came along, we think we had about 40-50 in total!

We would always like more houses to call on so if you live on Millend Lane (before the mill), Cress Green or Middle Street we would love to hear from you.  Email jen.empson@gmail.com or  lizzerchance@gmail.com address, alternatively contact us via facebook.
