Thank you for your responses to the survey, they have been analysed and now the Plan is near completion, with the policies currently being written.

Discussions are ongoing with Stroud District Council on Eastington’s NDP and how it complies with Stroud District Council’s Local Plan, planning legislation and guidelines.

Unfortunately Stroud District Council’s Full Council meeting on 9th December 2014 suddenly agreed to include the proposed West of Stonehouse site for development in the Parish of Eastington. This may cause a delay in the production of Eastington’s NDP as this now has to be included as a consideration in the plan.

The Steering Group is also watching with interest the progress of the Local Plan at the Examination in Public (EIP) on 29th and 30th January 2015, and the resulting judgement of the Inspector as this will have a very significant impact on Eastington’s NDP. A case of watch this space!
