Hello summer? I hope it's hiding somewhere as it’s pouring with rain while I'm writing this piece. Weather aside we've been enjoying lots of fun at group, achieving brilliant weight losses while helping and supporting each other on our weight loss journeys.
So the focus at group this week has been all about positivity and being kind to ourselves. As human beings we can be very self-critical and blame ourselves for wrong choices made, attaching blame and guilt to ourselves as people, as well as the lives we live. So we have started to focus our thoughts on all the great decisions we make on our weight loss journeys, that help us achieve the results we want, rather than the negativity we put ourselves through when things may not be as we'd like.
We've also been to using our thoughts on changing our behaviour to make positive choices and changes to be healthier, to lose weight and to think deeply about what may be stopping our good intentions.
Slimming World is fantastic as there is such a wide range of food choices you can choose from, to make sure you’re feeling full and satisfied with your meals and snacks. We've shared some lovely recipe ideas for hot days and those rainy days, for bbqs and picnics, for holiday times and working days. So come along and find out more. We open right the way through the school summer holidays, so if you’re looking to lose weight and feel healthier with no feeling hungry I look forward to meeting you.
We meet at Eastington Village Hall on a Wednesday at 5pm or 7pm
or I have a morning group in Stonehouse Community Centre at 9.30 on Wednesday mornings.
