Our theme for this half term has been focused around looking at different occupations, physical well-being and we are very excited to invite all our Mum’s to our first ‘ Afternoon Tea’ to coincide with Mother’s Day.

Tooth Fairy

During our week of healthy eating we are expecting the ‘Tooth Fairy’ to visit us and she will talk to the children about caring for their teeth. We are asking that all children bring in their toothbrushes that week so that we can continue to talk about and practice good oral hygiene alongside healthy and unhealthy foods.

World book week

The children dressed up as their favourite book character during world book week and brought along their favourite book to share (27th February – 2nd March).

This gave us a great opportunity to encourage literacy and support our new project on ‘Story Making’ which we hope to encourage children to use their imaginations to make up stories and map them out on paper.

Stay and play sessions

On Wednesday 8th March, we held a ‘stay and play’ morning which was very successful.  It was lovely to meet some new faces in the village and we look forward to seeing them when they start in September.

If you missed this and would like to find out about our Playgroup then please feel free to get in touch!
