Tidy-up at the Allotment Pond

Stroud Valleys Project spent 3 days during January and February 2017 giving our pond some much needed TLC.  The grass was trimmed, the brambles cut back and the gate has been relocated to the playing field side of the pond so you no longer go through the allotments to get there.

Now that we can get to the pond again, we will be considering carrying out a newt survey, some reed clearance and some meadow management later in the year.
