Our playgroup offers care and education for all children from 2 ½ years to 4 years 11 months in a well established community based group.

We offer your children a safe and stimulating environment in which they can grow and blossom into self confident, self reliant and positive little people.

Our ultimate goal is to enable the children to have fun, explore and have the freedom to express their individuality, while forming the basis of their education.

We now have a few spaces available for new children to start in September

and operate 4 days a week offering full and half day sessions.

We accept government nursery vouchers and other types of

employer supported childcare vouchers.

We asked our parents to help support children’s learning at home by participating in a sponsored ‘texture treasure hunt’ many of the children returned after the Easter holidays with a bag of goodies containing natural materials, wood, shells, metal and other objects such as foil, feathers, cork to name a few.  They all enjoyed exploring these objects whilst learning new words to describe how they looked and felt.

We had a week of physical activities such as an obstacle course, climbing, balancing, running races and moving our bodies with control and co ordination.

Then we had a fun week designing pants for superheroes, drawing out our design first and then using fabric pens to transfer this onto real pants to wear the following week acting out ‘Superheroes’ whilst being kind to others and saving our friends in imaginary play.

Preschool sessions have now started at Eastington Primary School to help support our older children in preparation for the transition in September and we have also had our open afternoon which was very well attended.

If you were unable to come along then please feel free to contact us and come along for a visit to find out more, we would love to meet you.

Our topic for this half term is about expressing ourselves and developing our imaginations through stories and adapting the role-play corner to reflect different themes.
