In 1865, two years after W.G.Grace made his first class debut aged 14,  Eastington beat Selsey Hill by 5 runs. Since then Eastington’s home ground moved to Stroud and back again. In 2016, now firmly established in the Stroud League and playing at The Owen Harris Memorial Ground in the village, we finished 3rd in our division following a very successful season.

Having just had our end of season dinner and the A.G.M. we now look forward to next season under the guidance of a new captain with a team whose average age has gone down over the last two seasons.

We could always do with more players aged 14 or over, so, if you are interested, have a word with

Roger Beese (captain) 01453 823128 / 07884 438417 or

Keith Dench (Chairman/Secretary) 01453 764990.                              KD
