And of course, we have had the exciting task of making lots of crafts for Christmas – the gifts and decorations were available for parents to purchase at our Christmas Fayre  on Sunday 20th November.  (See Features page)

Finally, we have started our auditions for the Christmas Nativity, and we have been busy learning new songs, making scenery and props and becoming accustomed to the children’s new characters for the big day on Thursday 15th December. After the big performance, we are hoping that Father Christmas might be able to squeeze in a visit to see us - fingers crossed!!

We hold this event every year followed by refreshments and a fantastic raffle, it continues to be a very popular event that starts the festive season off with some great smiles and memories!!  Wish us all luck!

We have had a very busy start to the new school term since September and have been settling into routines and supporting children’s transition to playgroup and encouraging independence for the older children.

We have started the Autumn term by discussing Bonfire night and how to keep ourselves safe, making firework pictures and learning about holding hands and staying with an adult when out and about.

We are also looking at the similarities and differences between people, noticing that we are all different and what makes us unique and individual.

We will be remembering others and

making Remembrance Day poppies.
