Eastington was a very spooky place to be just before Halloween this year….

We had our second Children’s Halloween walk on Friday 28th October.

The Halloween walk is organised as a part of The Eastington Community Walking Group and is one of a number of themed walks we arrange for children during the year.

We were amazed by the number of terrifyingly dressed little witches, skeletons, zombies, vampires and other monsters that joined us, we think we had about 50-60 in total!

We met at the Badger and headed down to the village hall, passed the mill and through Cress Green and Middle Street, before heading back along Bath Road for some fun and games at the Kings Head House.

As a part of the walk we pre arranged some houses that were happy to welcome trick or treaters. Our hosts were brilliant, from offering home made marshmallows, to dressing up as terrified princesses, offering tricks with very tart apples and one family who were mercifully able to keep the pet werewolf under control.

Even our old Morris Minor got in on the spooky action!

Talk is already turning to our Christmas Walk  - The Rudolf Ramble. (See Events)
