Eastington Egg Hunt

By the community, for the community

The First Great Eastington Egg Hunt was a huge success!  A huge amount of time, talent and cheerful hard work went into it - and the glorious weather was the icing on the cake (and there was cake!).

The day was only possible because of the epic volunteers, local companies who are amazing at supporting the community, egg hosts along the route who tolerated having things pinned to gates all day and amazing creative people who decorated eggs.

So our thanks to all those who joined in; volunteers, helpers, sponsors, supporters and participants alike - as well as giving everyone a great day out, you have helped to raise an astonishing  £2,500 which will be split 50/50 between playgroup and the school to improve our childrens’ learning environment.

Don't we live somewhere great?!

The Great Eastington Egg Hunt

The day dawned sunny and bright, and Eastingtonians came out in their droves!

Everyone, it seemed,  headed down to the school for the start of the Easter Egg trail - and discovered a magical mountain of the most wonderful cakes - what a good start……
