Fathers Day

After a lovely afternoon spent with Mum’s and Grandma’s for Mothers day afternoon tea we are planning on inviting Dad’s and Grampa’s along for a similar event. Something equally delicious will be made to eat by the children and we plan to spend some fun time together in at Playgroup in June.

Pre School sessions

Our children that will be leaving us in July to move to school have started to attend Pre-School sessions with Mandy and Donna at Eastington Primary School and this will help them to settle into routines, becoming independent and feeling familiar with their new surroundings in the autumn.

This half term we have been focusing on the world around us and we have been planting seeds at our allotment to learn about growth and changes. The children have been very interested in finding bugs and insects outside and learning about their features and habitats.

We have also been looking at space, stars, the sun and moon they have enjoyed dressing up as astronauts in our rocket tent and making dens too.

Egg Hunt

Our village Egg Hunt jointly organised by our team of fundraisers together with the Eastington Primary Parents Association and was extremely popular and very successful and we would like to thank everyone who supported this event, we will all be organising another similar day next year.
