The Magic Box

Class 1 have also been busy studying a poem called ‘The Magic Box’ by Kit Wright. They were inspired by his imagination and descriptions of a fantasy world and objects.

The children have decorated their own ‘magic’ boxes and placed inside their finished poems or verse. They all composed a super poem or verse full of original ideas and thoughtful description. Here is one of the finished pieces of work.

 Welcome to Class 1

On Wednesday 10th May Eastington Primary School welcomed the children who will shortly begin their school career with us in September.

Class 1 were very excited about the visit and future sessions and together they all enjoyed a playtime on the trim-trail, in the sunshine.

The current members of Class 1 were asked to think about how they could help the children to settle in and so they thought about what they could reveal about life in Class 1.
